See the News

Last night Hailey, Nate and I were out doing some errands when we saw a high speed chase. We stopped counting at 10 police cars. We watched and what seemed like a wave of police cars went whizzing by after the first run away car. Then we saw a beautiful shooting star. I was on a back road and I stopped and said "Look, look a shooting star". Hailey's small but authoritative voice with a tinge of I can't believe you don't know this said "mom, stars don't actually fall from the sky. It's called a meteor". So much for believing they bring good luck. Later both the car chase and the meteor were on the news. Unusual that we actually get observe news happening.
