Gratitude

Today E. and I went to a movie and then stopped at Target. While there we picked up some long sleeved shirts for N. At home I took them to N. who said "Thank you, mom. I really really like them." He repeated this several times and gave me a huge hug. E. standing next to me said a little miffed "I picked them out". N. lifted up his head and said "Thanks", then rested his head again on my shoulder. I'm not sure why he was so grateful for these shirts. Normally he is only half interested in new clothes.
