How to Drive A Mom Crazy

1. Wait for a day when she is running late to pick you from daycare and is obviously tired from work.

2. Take a long time to collect your things and say goodbye to your friends.

3. Wait until it starts hailing to finally be ready to leave. As you run to the car declare that you feel this is perfect tornado weather and insist we go to the basement, it works best if you can freak your younger sibling out.

4. While you are supposed to be doing homework or chores run outside and collect hail along with a bowl or two of dirty water from the rain gutters as a science project. Put them in the freezer for her to find later.

5. During dinner test each other on math problems using your brussel sprouts as tools, spread them on the table in small clusters. 2 brussel sprouts + 5 brussel sprouts =? Once the numbers get too high use chunks of your grilled cheese sandwich.

6. When she calls you to F.H.E. make sure you are never in the living room at the same time as your sibling. Use any excuse you can think of to get out of the room once the other comes into the room.

7. Repeatedly ask for treats and dessert after you have brushed your teeth for bed. To make this more effective make sure you have already had dessert.

8. Last, wait until she is about to fall asleep to let her know you are still awake by throwing paper airplanes into room and then dodging back into yours.

Needless to say- sometimes this is my favorite time of the day.

I'm sure they were "testing" you because you served brussels sprouts for dinner. Eeeeww! :)
