I'm a little blue the holidays are over! I absolutely loved having Thursday and Friday off two weeks in a row making for a wonderful long weekend at home with my family. When we are all home Nathan skips around the house and Hailey spends hours reading and occasionally singing. It's the little things like that which put a little smile on my face. Leisel and Nolan are busy and we rarely saw them. Here are some highlights from our latest time off work and school:

Eric caught a beautiful Rainbow Trout ice fishing.

Charlotte with the help of L. got her house organized after Christmas. It was so helpful and the house still looks great! Thanks L!

Hailey read almost every book she got for Christmas and absolutely loved hanging out with cousin P. who spent a few days here.

Nathan used his gift card (thank you Grandma and Grandpa) to buy a dinosaur digging kit and dug out a terrific fossil which he then painted.

The Chargers won their game ensuring that dad would be happy the rest of the weekend (thank you Chargers).

Our family activity for the week -we took the kids to Home Depot to do the kids workshop where they made bookends. (The last time we did this Megan, Carla, Leisel and Nolan where kids and they made birdhouses - that made me feel a little old!)
