I love fall for many reasons but here are just a few. Hailey and Nate can rake leaves for hours just to jump in them and start over again.
We spend hours at the park where Nate perfects his monkey bar skills and Hailey really tries to learn how.
It's been chilly in the morning and evenings but sometimes the afternoons are perfect for goofy behavior like trying to make a water slide down the driveway.
Nate ran his second race and ask that we sign him up for more. His two favorite sports are golf and running, neither of which are easy in Alaska.
This is a perfect time to wrap up in a warm blanket. We call this the Boone burrito. Sometimes his is so wrapped up we don't know he is in the blanket.
Hailey and her friends put on a play called "The House Fairies". They invited friends and neighbors...to dinner as well. I found out dinner was promised about 1 hour before the show. Eric came home quickly from work and got some things from the store and we cooked up spaghetti and broccli for the dinner theatre. After the play we had a game of charades. It was a very nice evening.
Now that the leaves are falling off the trees moose can be spotted easily. This baby and it's mother were just hanging out in a neighborhood up the steet.

How fun to see these pictures. I wish we were there to see the race, the play, and the last minute dinner rush! it looks beautiful out there, those leaves are HUGE!
