Panning for Gold

Once I looked out the kitchen window to see Nate panning for gold in the gutter.  He has wanted to pan for gold forever.  So on a recent trip to Fairbanks we stopped and panned for gold.  The mosquito's were out in swarms, but the weather was perfect and it seemed to cure Nate of his gold fever. 

 

We didn't find any gold but we did find lots of pretty rocks.

Leisel was visiting before she went to the Missionary Training Center in Provo.   We are so excited for her experience in the Knoxville, TN mission.
