This year Hailey had first day of school jitters more than normal.  She was taking a bus for the first time, attending middle school for the first time, and changing classes all day long for the first time.  I thought about her all day long.  Wondering how she liked her classes, who did she sit with at lunch.  What did she think  about the locker room and dressing for P.E.?  

 

 

Nate had jitters too but for a different reason.  He had his heart set on one teacher and he didn't get to be in her class.  He was so upset and worried about the teacher he did get.  It's been a couple of weeks now and it seems he and his new teacher are going to get along just fine.  I think he is actually growing to like her because of her sense of humor and focus on math.
